Primer on Homelessness in Fargo

Hundreds of people gathered November 20 at the historic Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo to meet Hannah Polak, award winning documentary film maker and see the primer of her documentary on homelessness in Fargo Moorhead. The audience also stayed to see "The Children of Leningradsky" her documentary on homeless Russian children.

The event was sponsored by the Fargo Moorhead Coalition for Homeless People to help raise awareness of the plight of the homeless in our area. The Coalition also has sponsored the making of the area homeless film. Awards were given to school children who competed in art contests about homelessness. Winners in the poetry contest read their winning poems.
