The November grant review cycle recently completed and the following are grants that were recently authorized in the Fargo, N.D., area Bremer communities.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Red River Valley, Inc. (Fargo, N.D.) = $35,000 for the implementation of a fundraising plan that will recruit and sustain long-term donors for this organization which serves ill children and their families.
Southeastern North Dakota Community Action Agency (Fargo, N.D.) = $10,000 for the North Dakota Community Action Partnership, which supports that Sportsmen Against Hunger program.
Abused Adult Resource Center (Bismarck, ND) = $105,000 for the operations of Pam’s House, a regional domestic abuse shelter which serves women and children.
Fair Housing of the Dakotas (Bismarck, ND) = $45,000 to provide education and outreach to residents and housing providers in North Dakota.
Fort Ransom Rural Fire District (Fort Ransom, ND) = $9,500 for a new emergency response vehicle.
Lakes Crisis and Resource Center (Detroit Lakes, MN) = $26,685 to develop a program plan for this organization that serves victims of violence.
North Dakotan Community Corrections Association (Jamestown, ND) = $15,000 to update the database software program for this corrections association.
St. Henry’s Area School (Perham, MN) = $27,000 to support the playground project.
