First Annual Latino-Somali Community Resource Fair in Willmar

Our Bremer Willmar Charter Bank staff had loads of fun and a great experience at the First Annual Latino-Somali Community Resource Fair this past Saturday, August 15 at the Civic Center Arena in Willmar, MN.

We set up a Bremer Bank display table and enjoyed meeting families and children who came to the fair to check out what the community has to offer them. A festive atmosphere with a live band, ethnic food, games for kids, prizes and workshop opportunities were all part of the day. Bremer joined other participating organizations taking advantage of the invitation offered by La Gran America, trilingual newspaper of Willmar and event organizer, to be a part of the event.

Other organizations included those offering education, health, recreation, housing, employment, legal services and more! The children were pros at our Bremer Bean Bag Toss game, and enjoyed picking out prizes. Can you tell by the photos what a fun day it was!
