AFP Benefits and Resources

The organization Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is offering several new benefits for its members to keep fundraisers to date wtih the latest ideas in funding for nonprofit organizations. Here are a few of the online member benefits and resources AFP offers its members as part of your dues.

The AFP Information Exchange - members, organizations and leaders in the field may submit papers for the benefit of their colleagues on a wide variety of topics. Tap into the invaluable knowledge and expertise of fellow fundraisers. The AFP Resource Center has provided comprehensive "Hot Topic" pages featuring in-depth guidance and information on key fundraising areas that members have identified as being most important right now.

Access PDF downloads of the AFP Read Reference Volumes for FREE! Get quick answers to your most pressing fundraising questions with the AFP Ready Reference Series. The series is a great little resource for the busy practitioner or a helpful introduction for someone new to fundraising - whether they are a new development officer, board member of even the CEO.

AFP's weekly electronic e-newsletter, AFP eWire, provides important news and trends in fundraising, along with expert advice on fundraising practices - sent exclusively to the inbox of AFP members. Read Advancing Philanthropy in a new digital format - whenever you want! You can conveniently access the entire magazine online, scroll through it page by page, as well as bookmark, download and print your favorite articles. AFP Web/Audioconference On-Demand Collection - the collection of 2004-2008 Web/Audioconferences is available for purchase at discounted member rates as a download or CD package as well as the programs in the 2009 Web/Audioconference series! The recorded sessions come complete with handouts include such topics as annual fund campaigns, major gift fundraising, stewardship, board development, donor demographics and media relations - just to name a few.
