I was recently made aware of a financial counseling service through Lutheran Social Service in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Lutheran Social Service Financial Counseling Service offers free Budget and Debt Counseling as well as monthly Debt Management Plans, focused on providing realistic solutions for full repayment of debts. They are a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling and have been serving clients since 1987.
