Better Together

Bremer Bank Marshall hosted a Better Together event on Wednesday, June 23, to celebrate TOGETHERNESS as part of Bremer’s focus to build friendships with the growing diverse community in the region. More than 150 people turned out for the event which included live entertainment from a Latino band, ethnic foods from local restaurants, piñatas and other entertainment.

Bremer Bank Marshall President and CEO Roger Madison welcomed the crowd and talked about the Bremer tradition being built on immigration. He was followed by Marshall Mayor Bob Byrnes, who spoke on the important role the immigrants have in the community and that diversity is strength. Lastly, Somali community leader and Otto Bremer Foundation grant recipient, Iftiin, Ex Dir. Abdullahi Noor addressed the audience.
