Care and Share Cafe food program wins big

EMILY - Perseverance paid off for the volunteer staff of Emily Wesleyan Church's Care and Share Cafe food program. Gordon Huff, one of the program's directors, announced this week Care and Share won its first grant last week, and it's a big one.
The grant, funded by the Otto Bremer Foundation will provide $50,000 toward the $170,000 needed to resume the program. "This brings us that much closer to our goal," Gordy Huff, Care and Share volunteer director, said. "It's great news for us."
