Quality Employment

"Quality employment overshadows every other issue" according to recently released research from the Blandin Foundation. Additionally, Rural Pulse 2010 voices the opinions of 1500 residents. Demand for a living wage is more than twice as important as the next most critical issue (education). Asked to assess quality of life in their community, 37 percent believe it has declined. Confidence in the future is high, however, with 87 percent believing they, personally, can help their community become a better place to live. The full report can be downloaded.
