A Natural Branch of Learning, Inc. (ANBL) (Washburn, WI)
A Natural Branch of Learning, Inc. (ANBL) is a new corporation serving Bayfield and Ashland counties, which supports outdoor programs for imaginative and challenging interactions with nature for children, families, and community members.
An important goal of ANBL is to serve all families regardless of race, socio-economic status, or health and disability status. We believe that every person deserves to participate in or to observe ANBL programs if they choose to do so. Our biggest impediment to reaching this goal is not having an outhouse available for older adults or for any person with a mobility disability. Thus, we created the following fundraiser to help us build a handicap-accessible composting outhouse.
We invited the community to purchase space on our new Composting Outhouse for initials, name, symbol, organization or a clever phrase. The organization offered to engrave it for the donor, or the donor can engrave it themselves. Different prices were set for different levels of engravement.
