Minnpost launched a new feature today called Community Sketches. According to MinnPost, Cindy Boyd will write pieces focusing on the economic and social challenges facing communities, especially low-income communities and communities of color, and how people are trying to address them.
Her first piece, published today, addresses the sharp growth in the number of Minnesota households receiving food stamps and reporting no other cash income.
