MergeMinnesota

Tough economic times have served as a wake-up call to many nonprofit organizations that they need to do business differently in the future in order to survive. Increasingly, merger is becoming a palatable and productive strategy. Now, nonprofits can access a merger resource to help them better understand not only mergers, but also other forms of realignment.

MergeMinnesota, published by MAP for Nonprofits is now available as a PDF document. Tools included in MergeMinnesota are a 10-step merger decision-making process, a merger tool kit, merger implementation guidance, interviews with merger experts, a literature review and full bibliography. MergeMinnesota was written by Ron Reed of MAP for Nonprofits and Su san Dowd of the Library Strategies Consulting Group, The Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library, with the support of The Wells Fargo Foundation and Greater Twin Cities United Way.
